Short version: this extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything you create stays in your own browser.

1. Data we store

Your bookmarks, screenshots, notes, decks and settings are stored locally on your device, using the browser's IndexedDB and localStorage. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.

We operate no server that receives your content. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud sync.

2. Data we do not collect

• No account or personal identity information
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
• No browsing history or page content beyond what is needed to create a bookmark you asked for
• No passwords, payment details, or location data

3. Permissions and why they are needed

• storage — to save your bookmarks, screenshots and settings locally.
• tabs, activeTab, scripting — to read the current timestamp and capture a screenshot of the video frame when you create a bookmark.
• Host permissions for supported video sites — so the extension can run on those pages only.

These permissions are used solely to provide the extension's features. Nothing gathered through them is transmitted off your device.

4. Third-party links

The extension includes an optional “Buy me a coffee” link that opens a third-party page (Ko-fi). Once you follow that link, the third party's own privacy policy applies. We receive no data about you from that visit beyond what the platform itself shows to any recipient of a donation.

5. Export and deletion

You can export your data at any time from the extension's settings page, and you can delete all locally stored data there as well. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage according to your browser's behaviour.

6. Children

The extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
